Visiting abandoned property is typically illegal due to laws prohibiting trespassing on private property or restrictions on entering government owned areas. There can be danger involved with the possibility of vagrants, vermin, toxic chemicals, broken glass and rotten flooring and stairs. If you do visit an abandoned building, be careful and use common sense. If you can't go inside due to restrictions sometimes a good zoom lens can get excellent pictures.
